- Assistant Chief (Economics) – Post Graduate Degree in Economics with specialization in econometrics or Post Graduate in Mathematics with specialization in O.R (Operational Research) or Post Graduate degree in Statistics
- Assistant – Preferably computer literate and proficient in MS Office

About the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC):
Central Electricity Regulatory Commission is a statutory body which was constituted on 24th July 1998.CERC intends to promote competition, efficiency, and economy in bulk power markets, promote investments, improve the quality of supply, and advise the government on the removal of institutions barriers to bridge the demand-supply gap and thus foster the interests of consumers. PK Pujari is the current chairperson of the commission. He took over on 1st February 2018. Sanoj Kumar Jha is the secretary of the commission. The commission has various departments like Legal, Engineering, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Economics, MIS, Administration, etc.
