About Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC)
The Government of Himachal Pradesh in the exercise of the forces gave under article 162 read with the stipulation of Article 309 of the Constitution of India established the H.P. Staff Selection Commission with its home office at Hamirpur vide warning No. Per (AP.B) B (1)- 1/98 dated sixth October 1998. The commission has been endowed with the obligation of making suggestions to all class-III administrations/posts including such posts on contract premise under the HP Govt. Other than this, the commission has added to make suggestions to all such class-III posts of the state open area Undertakings, Boards, Corporations, Universities, and Local Bodies, and so forth., as might be endowed to the Board by such Boards/Corporations/Universities and Local Bodies and so forth.
