JIPMER and AIIMS are the two institutes throughout the country that have their own entrance exams for MBBS. All other institutions in India conduct their MBBS admissions through NEET. JIPMER conducted the MBBS 2019 entrance exam on 02nd June 2019. The online application process for the entrance exam began from March 6th and continued till 12th April 2019. Around 1.45 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance exam this year.
The authority has released the list of the candidates that are selected for the counseling rounds. JIPMER results along with rank list has been declared on 8th June 2019. Candidates can view their results and the rank list through the online mode. The merit ranking is based on a percentile score after the normalization procedure. Merit list is drawn category-wise based on the minimum percentile prescribed by the authority.
